LINSEED OIL 3%, DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE 1.16%, METHYL SALICYLATE 10%, MENTHOL 5%
CADIGESIC GEL is quickly and completely absorbable formulation, a unique composition of multiple active ingredients such as LINSEED OIL, DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE, METHYL SALICYLATE & MENTHOL an anti-inflammatory agents. This gel is used to give relief in pain.
The main component of LINSEED OIL is alpha-linolenic acid which have anti-inflammatory action. It functions after converted into EPA & DHA, inhibit neutrophil inflammatory response by inhibiting leukotrines and the production of arachidonic acid main cause for inflammation.
DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory applied to reduce inflammation and in some case as analgesic to reduce pain. It functions by inhibiting COX enzyme which further inhibits the production of prostaglandins cause of inflammation.
METHYL SALICYLATE is also known as wintergreen oil which act as non steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. It cause dilation of the capillaries at the site of administration thereby blood flow increases which gives relief from pain and it also inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins cause of inflammation.
MENTHOL is an organic compound obtained synthetically works by giving cooling sensation at the site of administration by inhibiting Ca++ currents of neuronal membranes. It primarily activates cold sensitive receptors in the skin.
CADIGESIC GEL is indicated to use in the following conditions-

Apply a drop of gel on to the affected area and rub onto the skin or as directed by physician.
