OLOTAK Eye Drops contain Olopatadine, having Anti histaminic with Anti cholinergic and Mast cell stabilization properties. It also suppresses the Type 1 hypersensitivity allergic reaction as it is H1 antagonist. The H1 receptor mediates the process of histamine secretion and Olopatadine binds with the H1 receptor providing relief from the series of allergic symptoms caused due to Histamines. Olotak Eye drops also effectively hinders the degranulation of Mast cells and again suppress the release of allergic cascade initiator, Histamines. Histamine produces increased vascular permeability, causing fluid to escape from capillaries into tissues, which leads to the symptoms of an allergic reaction and watery eyes

Indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis

Side effects- prolong use may cause headache, blurred vision, burning sensation headache, dry eyes, foreign body sensation, hyperemia, keratitis, eyelid edema and pruritus

Precautions-

Should not is used to treat irritation due to contact lenses

For topical ocular use only, not for injection or oral use

Hypersensitivity towards any component of the ophthalmic solution.
